Fernandez to meet Monday with Haiti presidential candidate

Santo Domingo.- President Leonel Fernandez will meet Monday with Haiti presidential candidate Michel Martelly, whom has stated an interesting strengthened the ties of friendship with Dominican Republic, its island-sharing neighbor.
The pop singer and rapper-turned politician had already visited the country and contacted business leaders which might be potential investors in the event he wins Haiti’s Presidency.
Martelly, who was officially discarded from the electoral race and later accepted on the OAS’ recommendation, has strong support among the Haitian population, according to one survey.

Ils sont simplement des symboles qu’on utilise arbitrairement pour exprimer des pensées, des croyances et des idées. Ils sont dynamiques, ils évoluent, se développent et sont sujets à l’obsolescence, au vieillissement ou à la métamorphose. Par exemple, à l’époque coloniale, le mot « créole » a été utilisé comme groupement social, pour classifier les esclaves noirs ayant pris naissance dans le Nouveau Monde. Tandis que le mot Bossale se référait aux autres esclaves noirs venant d’Afrique. Gérard Barthélémy dans son livre « Créole Bossales » nous a clairement démontré que dans notre histoire, il existe toujours une lutte entre la culture Créole et la culture Bossale.
